This course provides an in-depth understanding of TASER technology, safety protocols, and the legal and ethical considerations involved in deploying less-lethal force. The Civilian TASER Less Lethal Instructor Course is designed for security professionals, private trainers, and community safety advocates who seek to become certified instructors in the responsible use of TASER devices. This course provides an in-depth understanding of TASER technology, safety protocols, and the legal and ethical considerations involved in deploying less-lethal force. Participants will receive hands-on training in the operation of TASER devices, including both classroom and practical instruction, with an emphasis on de-escalation techniques and using TASERs in non-lethal self-defense situations. The course also covers scenario-based training, the physiological and psychological effects of electrical devices, and post-deployment procedures. Upon successful completion, participants will be certified as Civilian TASER Instructors, qualified to teach others how to safely and effectively use TASER devices in a variety of civilian contexts. This course is ideal for instructors who aim to enhance and provide alternative methods for personal safety or lead self-defense training programs.
