Summer Camps at iCode Scottsdale
Week of July 27 – August 1
This week wraps up July with a strong mix of coding, game design, and advanced robotics. All camps are instructor-led and project-based, giving campers the chance to create meaningful projects and build confidence with technology.
Jr Programmer: Intro to 2D Game Development with Scratch (Ages 7–10)
Campers create their own 2D games using Scratch while learning functions, custom code blocks, and game logic. Projects are inspired by classic platformer-style games.
Minecraft: Arcade Makers (Ages 8–11)
Campers design and build their own Minecraft mini-games using advanced command blocks and world-building tools, culminating in a playable arcade experience.
AI-Powered Robotics Lab (Ages 9–13)
Students explore artificial intelligence through hands-on robotics using the VEX IQ AI Vision Sensor. Campers train robots to recognize objects and complete challenges before competing in an end-of-week AI robotics challenge.
Roblox Editor: Create and Code Your Own World (Ages 10–16)
Students learn how to build and code Roblox games using Lua, exploring game creation, scripting, and the basics of publishing and monetizing their creations.
