Classic Car Show Rolls Into Tucson With Food, Art And Live Music: What To Know

Residents and staff will showcase handmade crafts as community members bring cars, food trucks and entertainment.

TUCSON, AZ — Classic cars, handmade art and local food will take center stage in Tucson this week as a local care center invites the community in for a one-of-a-kind event.

La Canada Care Center will host a free community open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, featuring resident-created artwork, live entertainment and a casual car show.

The event will take place at 7970 N. La Cañada Drive.

Visitors can browse handmade crafts, jewelry and paintings created by residents and staff, offering a glimpse into the creativity inside the care center.

Outside, community members will display classic and custom cars, turning the event into an informal showcase for auto enthusiasts.

Two food trucks — Willy's Philly's and 23 Spices — will be on site, along with live music and entertainment throughout the afternoon.

Organizers say the event is designed to bring the community together while highlighting the talents of those who live and work at the center.

Admission and parking are free, and the event is open to the public.
