Free Backpacks, School Supplies Available At Tucson Back-To-School Event

TUSD students can get free backpacks and supplies while families connect with district staff and community partners.

TUCSON, AZ — Tucson Unified School District is helping students gear up for the new school year with free backpacks, school supplies and family resources at four locations across the city on Saturday.

The district's IMPACT Tucson event will run from 10 a.m. to noon July 25 at each of TUSD's Family Resource Centers. The event is open to TUSD families, and no registration is required.

Students can receive free backpacks and school supplies while supplies last. Families can also visit a resource fair, connect with community organizations, meet district staff and get help with school enrollment before classes begin.
