Trio Falso Baiano joins Portland pianist Kerry Politzer for a special evening of choro, maxixe, bossa nova and brazilian jazz! A Bay Area group for over 20 years, Falso Baiano explores traditional choro and contemporary brazilian jazz influences. Creating her signature sound in New York City, Kerry Politzer is a mainstay on the Portland Brazilian jazz and choro scene, participating in the annual "Dia de Choro." Falso Baiano is thrilled about this collaboration, after Kerry sat in with them on a couple of songs last year.
