2 7-Eleven Stores In Rosemead Robbed By Similar Suspects

ROSEMEAD, CA — Sheriff's investigators were looking for leads to two suspects who robbed two 7-Eleven convenience stores in Rosemead at gunpoint Monday morning pulling off both heist within about 30 minutes.

The first robbery occurred just after midnight Monday in the 7400 block of Garvey Avenue, Lt. B. Lemus of the Temple Sheriff's Station told City News Service.

The two males threatened the clerk with a firearm, stole cash and fled in a black Porche SUV, Lemus said.

At about 12:25 a.m., two males with a similar description robbed the 7- Eleven in the 1300 block of San Gabriel Boulevard at gunpoint, she said. They fled in a black, compact SUV.

Investigators were looking for leads to the suspects, Lemus said.

A news videographer published surveillance video of the second robbery. It showed the two masked males making off with the cash tray from a register. The age of the suspects was not available.
