Legendary Motown Singer, Songwriter Smokey Robinson Scheduled To Perform In Riverside County

RANCHO MIRAGE, CA — Legendary Motown singer and songwriter Smokey Robinson will bring his "Legacy of Love Tour" to The Show at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2027, officials announced last week.

The concert, scheduled for 8 p.m., will span more than six decades of soul, R&B, and pop classics from Robinson’s tenure with The Miracles and his solo catalog.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 21. Prices range from $84.95 to $229.95 and can be purchased online at aguacalientecasinos.com.

Born and raised in Detroit, Robinson founded The Miracles in high school and became a foundational architect of the Motown sound. With the group, he wrote and recorded iconic hits including "Shop Around," "You’ve Really Got a Hold on Me," "The Tracks of My Tears," and "The Tears of a Clown."

Beyond his work as a performer, Robinson served as a Motown vice president, songwriter, and producer, writing and producing hits for artists such as The Temptations, Mary Wells, and Marvin Gaye. His solo career produced enduring tracks including "Cruisin’," "Being with You," and "Just to See Her."

An inductee into both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Robinson has received the Grammy Living Legend Award, Kennedy Center Honors, and the National Medal of Arts.

The Show at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa is located at 32-250 Bob Hope Drive in Rancho Mirage. Valet and garage parking is available on-site.
