Local Professionals Come Together To Inspire Beaumont Youth
Brookside Elementary students met 20 professionals at a career day aimed at real-world learning connections.

BEAUMONT, CA—Twenty community members recently came together to host a memorable day for students at Brookside Elementary School.
For the career day event on April 10, professionals headed to campus to speak with students in transitional kindergarten through fifth grade during a special assembly.
The event, held from 8 a.m. to noon, featured presentations from workers across a range of fields, including public safety, health care, skilled trades and local government. The guests described their careers and answered questions from the inquiring young minds.

“Our hope was that students would get to explore different careers and connect their learning to real-world success,” Bridgman told Patch.
