The Nov. 8 General Election has arrived. What to know.
BANNING-BEAUMONT, CA — With the Nov. 8 General Election here, the Riverside County Registrar of Voters is reminding residents that their ballots must be received by the elections official no later than the close of the polls on Election Day, or be postmarked on or before Election Day and received no later than seven days after Election Day, to be counted.
There are several statewide offices and initiatives to weigh in on, as well as county contests, but Banning and Beaumont have several important local races, including Banning City Council (Districts 4 and 5); Beaumont City Council; Beaumont City Clerk; Beaumont City Treasurer; San Gorgonio Pass Water Agency Director/Division 3; Banning Unified School Board, Trustee Areas 1 and 5; Beaumont Unified School District, Trustee Areas 2 and 4; Beaumont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Park District Director; Beaumont Measure M; State Assembly, 47th District; and U.S. Representative, 25th District.
