RivCo Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured: Sheriff

MORENO VALLEY, CA — One person was killed and another was injured in a shooting Thursday night in Moreno Valley, authorities said.

Deputies responded to a shooting reported just after 6:30 p.m. in the 13000 block of Glorybower Lane, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies arrived and learned the victims were driven to a fire station in the 22000 block of Eucalyptus Avenue after the shooting. Both victims were transported from the fire station to a hospital where one person was pronounced dead. The other victim was in stable condition, authorities said.

No suspect information was immediately available, and no arrests have been made.

The shooting remains under investigation.
