Join artist Susan Brady for a special mixed-media workshop inspired by the spirit of Día de los Muertos and the tradition of honoring loved ones through photographs, flowers, color, symbols, meaningful objects, and personal imagery.
This is not a traditional ofrenda-making class. Instead, you’ll create your own contemporary collage of remembrance, shaped by the person you wish to honor and the memories you associate with them.
Bring a photograph along with any words, copied letters, images, colors, paper mementos, or other meaningful visual fragments you might like to include.
Susan will guide you through:
✨ selecting and arranging imagery
✨ cutting and layering
✨ creating visual balance
✨ combining personal symbols and memories
✨ using collage to tell a story
No art experience is needed.
