About

Join chef and author Bricia Lopez for a special talk and tasting event that explores the connections between food, memory, and history. A partner at the celebrated Guelaguetza restaurant and author of two acclaimed cookbooks, Lopez is a vital voice in Los Angeles’s food community and a passionate advocate for Oaxacan culture. Lopez considers food a living archive—one that carries memories across generations and preserves the people, places, and traditions that shape lives. Through stories and family recipes, she explores the role of food in Oaxaca, from the art of making it to the pleasures and traditions of sharing it. Following her talk, guests are invited to savor Oaxacan cuisine and sample regional mezcals in a communal setting, extending the conversation through shared food and good company.

Vegetarian options will be available, but please note that we are unable to accommodate specific dietary restrictions.
