This annual celebration brings the community together for hands-on workshops, family-friendly activities and practical tips to help reduce waste and repurpose everyday items.

This year’s theme, "Love Our Planet: There’s No Place Like Earth," highlights simple ways to prevent food waste and give old textiles new life.

Highlights include:

  • Demonstrations on using compost and mulch to grow food, herbs and native plants
  • Workshops on pickling vegetables and making eco-friendly cleaners from citrus peels
  • A clothing swap to refresh your closet
  • DIY projects like reusable bags made from old T-shirts and beeswax wraps from scrap fabric
  • Family-friendly activities, workshops and live music
