DANVILLE, CA — E-bike and motorized scooter riders in Danville will be required to dismount and walk while inside all town parks starting Thursday.
The new rule applies to all town parks and is intended to improve safety for pedestrians and other park users. Riders must walk, rather than ride, e-bikes and motorized scooters while within park boundaries.
This ordinance was developed after months of growing complaints from town residents.
