Downtown Street Closures Planned From San Ramon Valley High School Homecoming Parade

DANVILLE, CA — Several streets in downtown Danville will close Friday for the San Ramon Valley High School Homecoming Parade.

The parade will take place from 2:50 to 3:30 p.m. Friday and feature class floats and celebrations of the school’s performing arts and sports teams. The parade will begin at 2:50 p.m. at San Ramon Valley High School on 501 Danville Boulevard, head south on Danville Boulevard onto Hartz Avenue, west onto West Prospect Avenue, and return to SRVHS.

Rolling street closures will take place along Danville Boulevard, Hartz Avenue, West Prospect Avenue and Railroad Avenue. Streets are expected to reopen by 3:30 p.m. Motorists should use caution and expect brief delays. Pedestrians should use extra caution when crossing streets along the route.
