Indian Art Exhibition Opening In Danville

The Village Theatre Art Gallery is hosting an opening reception for "One Voice: Many Visions," a new exhibition by artists of Indian origin.

DANVILLE, CA — The Village Theatre Art Gallery welcomes to the community to the opening reception of its new exhibition entitled "One Voice: Many Visions," featuring artwork by a diverse range of artists of Indian origin.

The exhibition showcases works inspired by the colors and textures of India, ancient scriptures, modern life, and both Indian and Indian-American identity. It is presented by the Indian American Artists Association, a collective of artists of Indian origin dedicated to showcasing diverse voices and artistic approaches.

The opening reception on Thursday, Jan. 29 from 5-7 p.m. will offer guests the chance to experience the new collection and meet the artists. The exhibition will be on view at the Village Theatre Art Gallery at 233 Front Street from Jan. 30 to March 27. The gallery is open noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and by appointment only Mondays and Tuesdays.
