Zathura is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet This Week

Zathura is a 4-year-old, 13-pound, male, Domestic Long Hair cat with a Blue coat.

He was surrendered to a crowded shelter following some changes in his family. When that shelter needed space for other cats arriving, Zathura was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS).

He’s soft and relaxed. When the animal care attendants open his enclosure, he approaches them for attention. He’s a confident cat who loves to explore.

He likes other cats and would do well living with kids 10 years and older.

The $100 adoption fee for Zathura includes medical exam, neuter, up to date vaccinations, and registered microchip.

Rancho Coastal Humane Society’s annual Celebration of Second Chances will take place on Saturday, September 19th starting at 5:00 PM at the Del Mar Country Club at 6001 Clubhouse Drive in Rancho Santa Fe.

Dress up for the evening and help raise funds to support the people and pets served by Rancho Coastal Humane Society.

Funds raised during the Celebration support Rancho Coastal Humane Society’s programs for people and animals including Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS), Pet Adoption, Humane Education, the Animal Safehouse Program, Pet Assisted Therapy, and the Community Pet Food Bank.
