Dublin Planning New Park In East Dublin

DUBLIN, CA — Dublin has opened four parks since the beginning of 2022, and three more are in the works. The latest park is a linear park in East Dublin that will stretch from Gleason Drive south toward a future town square plaza, parallel to Tassajara Road. The Dublin City Council approved the park’s concept plan in December 2025.

The park will feature a playground, shaded picnic area with a barbecue, hammocks, trees, seasonal plantings, interactive pathways, and a Class I multi-use path for pedestrians and cyclists.

The city is asking the public to participate in a park naming survey, which is open until Sept. 10. The park theme is “Wonder,” representing the idea that parks can inspire curiosity, imagination, and joy at every age. Park names are asked to consider the park’s history, geographic location, landscape, and design amenities and features from the concept plan.
