Man, Woman Found Dead In Possible Murder Suicide In SD

ESCONDIDO, CA — The shootings of a man and woman who were found dead Tuesday in vehicles in Escondido were under investigation as a suspected case of murder-suicide.

Patrol officers responding to an incomplete 911 call at about 4:45 a.m. found the bodies in two cars parked near each other on Ohio Street, near Elm Street, according to the Escondido Police Department.

There were not believed to be any outstanding suspects in the case, officials told news crews. Police did not immediately disclose why investigators suspected that one of the decedents killed the other before committing suicide.

The relationship between the man and woman, if any, remained unclear early Tuesday evening.
