Free Compost Available To Glendora Residents Oct. 24

Proof of residency in Glendora is required, the city said.

GLENDORA, CA — Glendora residents can pick up free compost during a self-service, drive-up event on Saturday, Oct. 24, the city said.

The one-day event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at Carlyle E. Linder Equestrian Park located at 1000 N. Glendora Mountain Road.

Proof of Glendora residency is required. Compost will be available while supplies last, with a 30-gallon limit during the first hour. Containers cannot exceed 32 gallons, the city said.

Residents were advised to bring their own shovel, dolly and sturdy containers. Gloves and eye protection were also recommended.
