Blue-Hair, Pink Leopard Print Afternoon Robbery Suspect Found In Sonoma County: SRPD
A handwritten note, bright blue hair, and a leopard print jacket gives a bank robbery suspect away.
SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A handwritten note, bright blue hair, and a leopard print jacket turned a would-be Tuesday morning bank robbery into a search that led to a Santa Rosa post office.
Police say an attempted robbery unfolded around 9:50 a.m. Tuesday at the Chase Bank on Sonoma Avenue. Investigators said a woman is suspected of handing a teller a note, demanding cash, and threatening to kill people. However, she did not display or threaten to use a weapon during the robbery, police said.
After taking an undisclosed amount of money from tellers, the woman walked out of the bank and disappeared before officers arrived, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.
