
Paul Blanchard, the director of music for St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Healdsburg, plays a concert related to the Holy Trinity at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 19. Blanchard will be seated at the church's Bigelow pipe organ installed inside the church, which is located at the corner of East and Matheson Streets, one block east of Healdsburg's downtown Plaza.
Admission is free. Donations to the church's building maintenance fund will be gratefully accepted.
Blanchard will play these compositions: Marcello's Psalm 19 and Bohm's 3 settings of Vater unser in Himmelreich (Lord's Prayer); J.S. Bach's Vom Himmel Hoch and his Ascension by Messiaen's Priere du Christ (Ascension Suite, No. IV); Thomas Fielding's Versets on Veni Creator (w chanted verses), and Weckmann's O Lux Beata Trinitas.
