New Restaurant Opens In Iconic Laguna Beach Building This Summer
The historic Heisler Building will soon teem with new life after Noble Ace announced its upcoming opening.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A new dining experience is coming to Laguna Beach.
The historic Heisler Building — vacant since Bodega closed in early 2025 — will soon teem with new life, after Noble Ace announced its upcoming opening.
The restaurant, which describes itself as a "Golden Age Hollywood-inspired speakeasy restaurant and bar," is the brainchild of Chef Magellan Moore — of Mastro's Ocean Club — and Elizabeth and Tom Schreiber, The Orange County Register reported.

"Magellan and I met 12 years ago when we worked together at Mastro's while getting my degree from USC," Elizabeth Schreiber told the newspaper.

According to the newspaper, Elizabeth pitched the idea of opening a restaurant with Moore every year after getting married and pursuing another career.
"For a long time he said no," she said. "But about a year ago, he finally agreed."
Noble Ace is due to open Summer 2026 at the historic Heisler Building, 400 S. Coast Highway.
