2,000+ Grams Of Fentanyl, Firearms Found In Major South OC Drug Bust

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — Three people were arrested in San Juan Capistrano after a large amount of narcotics, firearms and cash was seized early Thursday morning.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, the stop happened at around 2:07 a.m. and was conducted by a deputy assigned to San Juan Capistrano's Special Enforcement Team.

During the investigation, deputies found more than 2,000 grams of fentanyl, 1,300 grams of methamphetamine, 700 grams of heroin and 300 grams of ketamine, police said.

Investigators also seized two PCP cigars, 26 alprazolam pills, about 2 grams of marijuana, more than $7,200 in cash and two loaded firearms, including a ghost gun, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

Photos released by the OCSD showed multiple bags of narcotics spread across a table alongside handguns, ammunition magazines and stacks of cash.

The identities of the three suspects were not immediately released.
