County Tests Warning System This Week In Dana Point: What To Know
The Orange County Sheriff's Department will run a test via AlertOC Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Dana Point.
DANA POINT, CA — The Orange County Sheriff's Department will run a test on its Outdoor Warning System Wednesday.
The test will occur Tuesday afternoon at 10 a.m., according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
Residents will receive a text message, phone call or email notifying them of the test.

"When an emergency strikes, whether it's a wildfire, earthquake or other disaster, every second counts," the Orange County Sheriff's Department said in a statement. "AlertOC helps get critical information like evacuation orders and safety instructions to you as quickly as possible."
