DANA POINT, CA — A local restaurant took to social media to encourage potential patrons to stop by ahead of a long renovation, and call out some distressing activity that's been happening within the business.

According to the statement issued by Turks on social media, owners plan to temporarily close their doors for the Dana Point Harbor redevelopment project after Oct. 31.

"Just because our location is preparing for renovations does not mean our collection is up for grabs, and saying 'you won't need them' does not make it okay," business owners said on Facebook. "Every picture on our walls and every item in this bar is our private property and holds priceless history."
Turk's is located at 34683 Golden Lantern at the Dana Point Harbor.
