SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — Orange County firefighters were hard at work Thursday night battling a house fire in San Juan Capistrano. The fire happened at 11:22 p.m. Thursday on Camino Santo Domingo, according to the Orange County Fire Authority. According to firefighters, the fire began in an attached garage and spread to the rest of the house.Video from the scene showed two cars burning in the driveway and the garage charred inside after the flames were out.The flames spread into the home but firefighters were able to stop it in 16 minutes, authorities said.The residents and their dogs escaped safely and no injuries were reported, fire officials said. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
