Renowned Singer/Songwriter Sara Groves to perform in Dana Point May 2nd

American contemporary Christian singer, record producer, and author Sara Groves and her band will be performing at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 2nd at 7 PM.

Sara has released 10 albums; been nominated for 3 Dove Awards; and was named best Christian music artist (2005). Her album, Add to the Beauty was named Album of the Year for 2005 by CCM Magazine and was remastered in 2024. This fall, she will celebrate the 25th anniversary of her national debut album, Conversations.

Often called “the consummate storyteller," Groves has been writing songs since the age of four, translating loneliness and teenage angst into beautiful and inspiring songs. As an adult, she has earned a significant following through her transparent, thoughtful songwriting.

In 2012 Groves and her husband launched “Art House North” in a 120 year old church in their St. Paul neighborhood, where they host songwriting and other workshops and provide access to speakers, teachers and guest artists to promote community, life and engagement.
