Lake Elsinore Trunk-Or-Treat Event Promises Fall Fun This Weekend

All ghouls and boys, get ready for some Halloween fun in Lake Elsinore on Saturday, Oct. 10. Here's what to expect.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Trunk or Treat returns to Main Street on Saturday, Oct. 10, in downtown Lake Elsinore in what has become the fall kickoff event of the season..

Trunk or Treat is planned for 5 to 8 p.m. on Main Street. Admission is free.

Families are going all out this year, as usual.

Get your costumes ready! Already, 80 "trunks" are planned in front of stores and businesses along Main Street, according to a city spokesperson.

"A huge thank you to all residents, schools, community groups and local businesses who registered to participate," they said. "We are so grateful for your support and for helping us create such a fun night for our community."

When you go, here's what to expect:

  • 80 decorated trunks.
  • Free amusements.
  • DJ Music.
  • Haunted house.
  • Lots of candy.

Also in October, Lake Elsinore can expect an Oktoberfest celebration on Oct. 17, and the Day of the Dead event, planned for Oct. 24.

"Three weekends, three incredible events and endless fun," the city shared over social media. "We can't wait to celebrate October with you, Lake Elsinore!"
