Mason Motorsports Lauded As Lake Elsinore's Business Spotlight Of January 2026

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Lake Elsinore has named Mason Motorsports as its first Business in Action Spotlight of the year, recognizing the locally owned company for its national reach and community involvement.

Each month, the program honors local businesses that demonstrate strong customer service, economic contribution and civic partnership.

Founded in 2004 by brothers Neal and Rob Mason, Mason Motorsports has grown into a "nationally recognized" off-road motorsports manufacturer while maintaining deep ties to the local community.

The company recently expanded its Lake Elsinore headquarters from 9,000 square feet to more than 18,000 square feet of manufacturing space, a move city officials said supports additional skilled jobs and strengthens the local economy.

“Mason Motorsports represents the very best of Lake Elsinore’s entrepreneurial spirit,” Mayor Bob Magee wrote in a statement. “Their continued growth, innovation and commitment to our action sports community reinforce Lake Elsinore’s identity as a destination for high-performance manufacturing.”

The city said Mason Motorsports is known globally for designing and fabricating championship-winning off-road race vehicles, including Trophy Lite trucks, Class 7200 and 6100 trucks, and both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive Trophy Trucks.

The company has gained particular recognition for its all-wheel-drive Trophy Trucks, custom-built vehicles valued at more than $1 million each that have helped reshape top-tier desert racing through improved acceleration, handling and control.

Vehicles built by Mason Motorsports have earned 17 podium finishes in major desert racing events, including podium placements at all four SCORE Trophy Truck races during the 2024 SCORE World Desert Championship, as well as multiple strong finishes at the Mint 400. The company received the Impact Award from the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame in 2019 and was named SCORE Truck Chassis Manufacturer of the Year in 2024.

City officials said the company’s success contributes to Lake Elsinore’s growing cluster of action sports and recreation-related businesses, helping position the city as a regional hub for motorsports innovation.
