Fire Torches 8 Trees At Orange County Home: OCFA

Fire crews responded at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday to a home on Orange Acres Lane where eight cypress trees were engulfed in flames.

IRVINE, CA — A fire torching several trees in Irvine was knocked down by firefighters with the Orange County Fire Authority, the fire agency reported Wednesday.

Fire crews responded at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday to a residence on Orange Acres Lane where eight cypress trees were engulfed in flames and showering embers, the fire authority said.

Crews quickly extinguished the flames, preventing any damage to nearby homes.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
