Shots Fired, Man Shot By OC Sheriff's Deputies In Lake Forest: OCSD
The suspect brandished his weapon following a disturbance at a home in Rancho Mission Viejo, authorities said.
LAKE FOREST, CA ā A man was wounded in a shooting involving at least one Orange County sheriff's deputy Friday in Lake Forest.
The gunfire was reported at around 3:50 a.m. near the 21000 block of Rimgate Drive in Lake Forest, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
The shooting happened following a disturbance at a home in Rancho Mission Viejo, where the suspect brandished a weapon, the department said.

Deputies found the suspect in Lake Forest, and an officer-involved shooting followed, police said.
The suspect's name nor age was released. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition, according to the OCSD.
