LAMORDINA, CA — Parents get a break over the long weekend from early morning school shuttling and school board meetings.

The Acalanes Union High School District Governing Board will hold the only publicly listed school governing-board meeting affecting Lafayette, Moraga, and Orinda through Sept. 9.

The board’s regular meeting is tonight covering high schools in the Lafayette, Moraga, and Orinda communities.

The district operates Acalanes High School in Lafayette, Campolindo High School in Moraga, and Miramonte High School in Orinda.

The district will broadcast the meeting tonight at 7 p.m.

The Lafayette School District Governing Board has no meeting scheduled through Sept. 9.

Its next regular meeting is Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 6–9 p.m. at the Stanley Middle School Library, 3455 School St., according to the district calendar.

The Moraga School District Governing Board also has no meeting listed through Sept. 9, according to its board agendas and minutes portal.

The Moraga School District Coordinating Council met Aug. 31. Its next meeting is Sept. 21. The council serves as an LCAP advisory committee, not the elected school board, according to the district’s Coordinating Council information.

The Orinda Union School District Board of Trustees has no meeting scheduled through Sept. 9. Its next meeting is Monday, Sept. 14, at 6 p.m. in the district boardroom at 8 Altarinda Road, according to the board meeting calendar.

Schools will close Monday for Labor Day.
