Candidates Night Brings Local Contra Costa Election Races Together

LAMORINDA, CA — Contested races will open the conversation, but two uncontested school board contests will close Moraga Candidates Night.

Moraga Citizens Network will bring candidates for the Moraga Town Council, Moraga-Orinda Fire District 3, and two school district governing boards together during the Oct. 6 Moraga Candidates Night.

Moraga Town Council candidates will appear at 7 p.m., followed by Moraga-Orinda Fire District 3 candidates at 8:15 p.m. Candidates for the Moraga School District and Acalanes Union High School District governing boards will appear at 8:45 p.m. Both school board races are uncontested.

Moraga Citizens Network encourages civic, recreational, and community engagement in Moraga.

The nonprofit organization will host the event from 6:30 to 9:15 p.m. in the Moraga Room at the Soda Center at Saint Mary’s College. Refreshments will be served.
