Investigators Seek Contra Costa Victims In Multistate Trafficking Case

LAMORINDA, CA — Contra Costa County investigators are searching for more victims of an Antioch man suspected of using force, fraud, and coercion to traffic minors and adult women across multiple states.

Raymond Jamar Brooks, 32, of Antioch, is being held at the Martinez Detention Facility on $1 million bail.

Investigators suspect Brooks of engaging in commercial sex acts with minors and adult women through force, fraud, coercion, and other means associated with sex trafficking.

Authorities have identified several victims who authorities suspect were trafficked across state lines. They have withheld the victims’ identities to protect their privacy and safety while the investigation continues, according to the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.
