Contra Costa Hotel Wins Only East Bay Condé Nast Top Recognition

LAMORINDA, CA — Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa earned the East Bay’s only top-10 position in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards for Northern California hotels.

The Lafayette hotel ranked No. 10 with a reader score of 97.98.

The awards rank hotels through the publication’s annual reader survey. Participants rate rooms, location, service, food, activities, facilities, design, concierge services, community investment, and spa and wellness offerings.

Condé Nast Traveler averages those ratings to calculate each property’s score. Hotels must receive a minimum number of responses and meet a minimum overall rating to qualify.
