Plea For Help In Search For Missing Dog 'Kylie'

A 10-year-old mixed-breed dog escaped through a gate June 16, and rescuers are asking the public to help bring her home safely.

LAMORINDA, CA — A beloved family dog vanished after slipping through a gate, sparking an urgent search and a plea for help from animal rescuers who hope the community can reunite her with her owners.

Kylie, a 10-year-old mixed-breed female dog, went missing after escaping from a property overnight June 16.

Described as a small-to-medium-sized dog weighing about 20 pounds, Kylie has distinctive blonde, spiky hair and answers to her name.

Rescuers say Kylie is friendly, but she can be nervous around people she does not know. She is not known to bite, according to Hugs for Harry, an East Bay dog rescue organization that posted the plea for help.
