Grammy-Nominated Duo To Perform at Long Beach's Fingerprints Music

LONG BEACH, CA — The four-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter duo The Milk Carton Kids will perform at Fingerprints Music at noon on April 24, and also sign copies of their new album, which is being released the same day.

The album, Lost Cause Lover Fool, is the duo's seventh release. To attend the event, fans must pre-order it on CD ($14.99) or iridescent green vinyl ($26.99) at Fingerprints' online store.

Once ordered, the purchaser's name is automatically added to the guest list. Anyone wanting to bring a guest would have to buy two copies.

The Milk Carton Kids, an indie-folk duo from the Eagle Rock area of Los Angeles, consists of singer-musicians Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan. Their first album, Prologue, was released in 2011.

As a duo, they've been nominated for four Grammys over the years for various albums and performances. They will tour in support of their new album during the summer and fall, including a Nov. 15 date at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles.
