Beautiful and Loving Atlas and Negra, Both Need Immediate Fosters / Rescues To Save Their Lives Today by 9 am

Fosters and rescue commitment are needed now to save their lives. These dogs are individuals who want to live, love, and be safe, and stepping forward to foster gives them the time and protection they need to save their precious lives.

Sweet Atlas is a Lab/Rottweiler mix who is beautiful, smart, and wants to run and play, and he loves people. A loving, responsible foster home is needed. Please reach out to the shelter if you can foster by 9 a.m. or as early as possible today. Fostering is possible directly from the shelter, and rescues are encouraged to reach out as well. He must have a commitment by 9 a.m. so that he is not at risk for euthanasia —it is crucial that a foster steps forward, and / or a rescue so that he stays safe and can live his long beautiful life ahead of him - he needs a foster urgently this morning, so that he lives to see another day.

He leans into your hand, catching treats mid-air with so much joy. Every glance, every movement, says one thing clearly—I just want to be loved.” Atlas wants to live his life, and he deserves that chance.

Atlas is approximately four years old. He is ready to settle into a loving home and begin the life ahead of him. If you can offer that home, you will be saving his life—and he will appreciate that forever.

Negra is a stunning Husky/German Shepherd mix, approximately six years old. She is very sweet and kind, with a gentle nature that shines through in everything she does.

According to the Instagram page @iloverescue, “Negra came into the shelter back in November of 2025 with her sister, Chula, after their previous owner surrendered both of them. For a while they were kenneled together and coexisted peacefully. The stress of the shelter environment and being confined in a small space eventually became too much, so staff moved her into her own kennel.” Negra may be six years old, but she still has the playfulness of a puppy. She likes to carry her treat bag around the play yard, walks calmly on a leash, and explores the yard with gentle excitement. She leans into pets with so much love and clearly loves people, as if she has been waiting her entire life for comfort and kindness. She is kind and gentle with everyone she meets.
A loving, responsible foster home is urgently needed to give Negra safety and a chance to live the life she deserves.
