Foster homes are needed in Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties to save amazing dogs at shelters.
There is an important need in Los Angeles County and in San Bernardino County, which is crucial for animals - shelters need more loving responsible homes and the countless rescues in both areas, who step up for many animals found in shelters throughout both counties, need more people willing to step up to offer a loving, responsible kind foster home for animals. The saying "fosters save lives" isn't cliche, it is a very true statement, fosters enable rescues to save many precious animals each year.
LA County boasts close to 10,000,000 in population, being the largest county in California of course, and exceeded in population by only eight states. San Bernardino County's population is comprised of over 2.1 million people according to the 2020 census, and in both counties we need more people to step up to be fosters for animals in urgent need of loving, kind, compassionate homes.
When rescues have more fosters, countless additional precious important lives can be saved. Given the population in LA County and San Bernardino County, I am certain that there are countless wonderful people with huge hearts and room in their hearts and homes to help one of the many beautiful, brilliant shelter dogs who are in shelters, through no fault of their own . They are all beautiful. They are individuals and their lives matter, each of them have a strong will to live and appreciate life each and every day - they deserve to live it with love, for many years. Dogs heal people, dogs protect people, dogs bring joy to people and teach us to find joy in each and every moment. They have a strong will to live and to be loved just as we do as human beings, and they need us - they need us to protect them, to be kind and compassionate to them; and to be the best friends they are to us, to them as well. When adopted into a family and as a foster dog; they are an important member of the family; dogs and cats at shelters, they are important beings. They bring more love to families, they bring joy to all. They are loving beings who bless a families and individuals in countless ways because they just want love and kindness, and compassion, just like we do. They teach humans about love, compassion, empathy, patience and to live in the present moment, appreciating the gift of life.

Currently there are many dogs at risk of euthanasia in shelters, and we must save them all. When loving foster and adoptive homes are found, this enables us to save them all because each of them matters. Beautiful dogs, every one of them, I know are hoping and praying a kind person or family will choose them as their new family member. Often dogs choose us, and will know right away if they know that you are the right home for them.
