Missing La Verne Teenagers Found Safe: Police

Carmen Vasquez and Austin Milligan had been missing since Friday in separate disappearances, La Verne police said.

LA VERNE, CA — Two teenagers in La Verne who had been missing since Friday were located safe, police announced Monday.

Carmen Vasquez, 15, and Austin Milligan, 13, left the respective homes on Friday after arguing with their parents. Despite the similar circumstances of their disappearances on the same day, the La Verne Police Department said both youths' cases were unrelated.

Vasquez had been missing since 5:50 p.m. Friday, while Milligan went missing around 8:30 p.m.

The La Verne Police Department declined to release any additional information about the youths.
