SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

Firstly, SoCal is in for a hot week, and an Extreme Heat Warning is in effect for much of inland LA County starting Tuesday morning, when highs in the inland valleys and foothills will reach the upper 90s and low triple digits. Authorities have lifted evacuation orders in the Antelope Valley for the 2,690-acre Summit Fire as containment grows, but officials say there is still a high fire and evacuation risk.

A 27-year-old man was arrested after allegedly shooting a woman on a San Diego freeway ramp due to a lane dispute. The woman was hospitalized.
