2 Months Of Daily Road Closures Planned For Wildlife Crossing Construction

The closures are planned weekdays through July 1.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — A stretch of Agoura Road will be subject to closures over the next two months as construction continues on the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing.

Beginning Monday and through July 1, Agoura Road between Rondell Street and Hydepark Drive will be closed Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to Caltrans.

No traffic of any kind, including cyclists or pedestrians, will be permitted within the closure area.

Motorists will use the 101 Freeway between Chesebro Road and Liberty Canyon Road as a detour. Signs will indicate the detour route.

A free shuttle will operate every 30 minutes from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to help pedestrians and cyclists travel around the closure.

The eastbound shuttle pick-up location is at Dorothy Drive and Chesebro Road. The drop-off location is at Liberty Canyon and Agoura Road.

The westbound shuttle pick-up location is at Liberty Canyon and Agoura Road. The drop-off location is at Dorothy Drive and Chesebro Road.
