Las Virgenes Road To Be Closed All Day Monday After Water Main Break

Drivers should expect the key Malibu-Calabasas route to remain closed through Monday as crews finish pipe and roadway repairs.

CALABASAS, CA — Las Virgenes Road will remain closed between Lost Hills Road and Mulholland Highway throughout Monday as crews continue repairs following a water main break, according to officials.

Crews were still working Monday morning to complete repairs to the damaged pipe, with that work expected to wrap up during the morning. Roadway repairs will follow, and the closure is expected to remain in place for the rest of the day, Malibu city officials said.

Updated traffic signs were being placed Monday morning to warn drivers about the closure and direct them to alternate routes.
