Martinez Man Identified As Victim Of Fatal Bethel Island Shooting
A man who died in a shooting in Bethel Island on Monday night has been identified by the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office.
MARTINEZ, CA ā A man who died in a shooting in Bethel Island on Monday night has been identified by the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office.
Edward Garofalo IV, a 38-year-old man from Martinez, died in the shooting reported at 8:49 p.m. Monday in the 3200 block of Dutch Slough Road. Deputies arrived to find Garofalo lying on the street and he was pronounced dead at the scene, sheriff's officials said.
Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting and the Sheriff's Office had not announced an arrest or released any suspect details as of Wednesday.
