Uber Driver Shot In 'Random' East Bay Drive-By: Report
No arrests have been made in the case, according to a report from KRON4.
ANTIOCH, CA ā Police are still looking for at least two suspects accused of shooting an Uber driver in Antioch on Thursday, Jan. 8, according to a report from KRON4.
The shooting happened just before 11 p.m. in the 600 block of Wilbur Avenue, according to the report.
There, two people in another vehicle fire toward the Uber driver, striking him, according to the report. Police believe this was a random act, according to the report.

Uber told KRON4 that the "brazen act of violence is deeply troubling" and that they'd be checking in on the driver.
The incident comes after another 11-year-old girl was also mistakenly shot and killed in Antioch earlier this year. The shooter in the case has since turned themselves in.
