Teenage Girl's Body Found Near Antioch High School; Police Investigate

ANTIOCH, CA — A 17-old-girl girl who was found dead on the side of a road was not a student in the Antioch Unified School District, police said Saturday.

Officers responded about 3:30 a.m. Friday in the area of L Street between West 18th Street and West 10th Street, police said on social media. The location is near Antioch High School.

The officers rendered medical aid, but the victim died at the scene, police said.

The death is being investigated as suspicious, police said.
