Toddler Found Wandering East Bay Without Parent: Police

ANTIOCH, CA — Police say they've reunited a toddler found alone on an East Bay Street on Monday morning with their parent.

Officers found the two-year-old boy in the 700 block of East 18th Street around 6:30 a.m. in Antioch, police said.

It's unclear how the toddler got there or whether he lived in the surrounding area. He responded to the name of "Isaiah," according to the Antioch Police Department.

Police announced just before 11:30 a.m. that they had located the toddler's parent and thanked everyone who shared the announcement and helped officers with the investigation.

Police did not say where they located the child's guardian, and no details about how they found them were immediately available.
