Abandoned Puppy 'Magnolia' Soon To Be Up For Adoption In Mission Viejo
The puppy was abandoned outside the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center this past week, officials say.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A puppy that gained internet interest after it was seen being dumped outside a South Orange County animal shelter will soon be available to be adopted.
"Although we do not know the exact date the puppy, Magnolia, will be available to go home," Mission Viejo Animal Services Director Brynn Lavison said. "We are now opening the adoption application process."
The puppy was first seen on surveillance video footage that showed a man driving up to the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center.

About an hour later, staff at a nearby animal urgent care facility discovered the puppy at their front entrance and brought it inside for evaluation, officials said. The Animal Services Center was notified and an officer responded.
