Memorial Day Ceremony Announced In Mission Viejo: What To Know
The City of Mission Viejo will pay homage to U.S. servicemembers in a very special ceremony May 25.
MISSION VIEJO, CA — The City of Mission Viejo will pay homage to U.S. servicemembers on Monday, May 25 in a very special ceremony.
The ceremony features guest speaker Colonel Charles "Clay" Readinger, Commanding Officer of Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, and a tribute to Megan McClung, a Mission Viejo resident who died serving the U.S. 20 years ago.
The event will also boast a live vocal performance by Chad Berlinghieri, a performer with the LA Philharmonic and Opera Pacific at the Orange County Performing Arts Center.

Attendees will also hear from the San Diego Veterans Honor Color Guard.
Coffee and light accommodations will be served at the ceremony.

The Memorial Day Ceremony takes place on Monday, May 25 at 8:30 a.m. in the Kershaw Garden.
